This traditional farmhouse style new build features air source heating, MVHR, glazed balconies and a kitchen and dining area that opens out onto a level terrace. Built on a flood plain between two water courses during one of the wettest periods of the last decade, it presented some difficult challenges for designers and contractors. Now complete and looking out over terraced lawns, it is one of the most beautiful and unique residences in the area.

Specialist foundations were needed to secure the building from risk of flooding

The finished house sits beautifully alongside the water with gently sloping lawns masking the height it was built at to protect it from flooding
